Pavor undiquae), an epithet applied at the divine instance by Jeremiah to the persecuting: Pashur (q.v.), emblematical of his signal fate, as explained in the context (Jer_20:3). “It is remarkable that the same phrase occurs in several other passages of Jeremiah (6:25; 20:10; 46:5; 49:29; Lam_2:22), and is only found besides in Psa_31:13” (Smith).
