He is represented, as seen in the Tower of Winds at Athens, flying in a horizontal direction, with a light mantle, in which he carries flowers and fruits, with flowing hair, and looking out upon the world with a friendly open face. The east wind brought light, fruitful rains from the sea, therefore he is represented thus.
