1. The first named of the five sons of Simeon (1Ch_4:24), and progenitor of the Nemuelites (Num_26:12). He is elsewhere (Gen_46:10) called JEMUEL SEE JEMUEL (q.v.).
2. First-named son of Eliab, of the tribe of Reuben, and brother of Dathan and Abiram (Num_26:9). B.C. cir. 1619.
