Íåôùöáèß , as 1Ch_2:54, etc., but Íåôùöáôßôçò , 2Sa_23:28; Íåôùöáèßôçò , 2Ki_25:23; Íåôùöáôß , 1Ch_27:15; ÍåôïõöÜô , 1Ch_27:13; Íåôùöáèåß , Jer_40:8; with v.r. Íùôåöáôß ; once mistakenly rendered ἀðὸ ἐðáõëÝùí , Neh_12:28), an inhabitant of Netophah (q.v.). The Netophathites are called sons of Salma (1Ch_2:54), probably the founder of the village (2Sa_23:28-29; Jer_40:8).
