a Presbyterian minister, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, April 23, 1811. He graduated from Hanover College in 1834; was ordained pastor in Lebanon in 1836, where he served with great acceptability and usefulness for nine years, and thereafter was pastor at Paris, Illinois, where he died, June 22, 1879.
