(Heb. Raamyah', øִòִîְéָä , thundesr of Jehovah; Sept. ῾ÑååëìÜ [v. r. Íááìßá ), one of the chief Israelites who returned from exile with Zerubbabel (Neh_7:7), B.C. 445. In the parallel list (Ezr_2:2) he is called REELAIAH, and the Greek equivalent of the name in the Sept. of Nehemiah appears to have arisen from a confusion of the two readings, unless, as Bulrrington (Geneal. ii, 68) suggests, ῾ÑååëìÜ is an error of the copyist for ῾Ñååëáßá , the-uncial letters ai having been mistaken for m. In 1Es_5:2 the name appears as REESALAS.
