(Heb. Arod', àֲøåֹã , perhaps affliction, otherwise a wild ass, Sept. Á᾿ñïáäß ), the sixth son (or branch of the family) of Gad (Num_26:17). B.C. 1856. His descendants (Heb. Arodi', àֲøåֹãִé ) are called Arodi (Gen_46:16, Sept. Á᾿ñïçäåßò ) or Arodites (Num_26:17; Sept. Á᾿ñïáäß ).
