a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Ancaster, Wentworth Co., Canada, May 2, 1838, and joined the Church there in 1854. He was licensed to preach in 1857, and entered the Illinois Conference. in 1860. In 1873 he was granted a supernumerary relation. and held that position until his death, Nov. 18, 1874.
