1. áּåּì , bul, lit. produce (“food,” Job_40:20); hence the trunk of a tree (“stock,” Isa_44:19);

2. âֶּæ ò , geza, the stump (“stock,” Job_14:8) or trunk (“stem,” Isa_11:1; “stock,” 40:24) of a tree;

3. òֵåֹ , ets (Jer_2:27; Jer_10:8), a tree, or piece of wood, as elsewhere rendered;

4. òֵ÷ֶø , eker, a plant rooted up and then transplanted in a foreign soil (Lev_25:47);

5. ãÝíïò (Act_13:26; Php_3:5), race, or kindred (as elsewhere rendered). A gazingstock (Nah_3:6) is øַàַé , roi, a sight (variously rendered elsewhere).
