( Á᾿ôèáñßáò ), a name given (1Es_5:40) in connection with that of Nehemias (Nehemiah), evidently by the translator misunderstanding the title TIRSHATHA (q.v.) of the original text (Ezr_2:63; comp. Neh_8:9).
