is the rendering, in the A.V., regularly of îַâַøָùׁ , nigr-eash, properly a pasture (1Ch_5:16; Eze_48:15); hence the open country around a city used for grazing (Num_35:2; Jos_21:11; 1Ch_6:40; 1Ch_13:2, etc.), or for any other purpose (Eze_27:28; Eze_45:2; Eze_48:17). Once (2Ki_23:11), it stands for ôִּøְåָø , parvar, which is but a MS. variation of PARBAR SEE PARBAR (q.v.).
