a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Yorkshire, England, in 1815, and came to America in 1835, settling in Trenton, N. J. In 1854 he was admitted on trial into the New Jersey Conference, and was actively employed up to the time of his death, which occurred at Vincenttown, Feb. 18, 1874.
