(Dan_2:4), or SYRIAN TONGUE (Ezr_4:7) or LANGUAGE (2Ki_18:26; [Isa_37:11), is the rendering in the A.V. of the Hebrew àֲøָîַéú , Aramlith, which is the fem. of, àֲøָîַé , Aramaean, used adverbially l.q. Anamaziae, in Aramaic. SEE ARAMIEAN.
