a Presbyterian divine, was born in 1783, educated privately, graduated at the Theological Seminary of the Associate Reformed Church, New York, in 1813; was licensed to preach by the Monongahela Associate Reformed Presbytery in the same year, and ordained by the same presbytery and installed pastor of the united congregations ῥ at Upper Wheeling and Cadiz in 1814, where he continued to labor until old age.
