( Ôù῏ / ñéïò ), a native or inhabitant of the city of Tyre (Ecclesiastes 46:18). The corresponding Heb. word ( öֹøַé , Tsori) is rendered by the indirect phrase of Tyre in the A. V. (1Ki_7:14; 1Ch_22:4; 2Ch_2:14; Ezra 3, 7; Neh_13:16), and so likewise the Greek (1 Esdr. 5, 55; 2Ma_4:10; Act_12:20).
