a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born in South Carolina, Jan. 1, 1788.. He joined the Church in 1810, and was licensed to preach in 1818. In 1848 he united with the Georgia Conference, and in it labored faithfully until his decease, Aug. 27, 1858.
