( Óáâáííáῖïò v. r. Âáííáßïò , Vulg. Bannus), one of the “sons of Asom” that renounced their Gentile wives after the captivity (1Es_9:33); apparently a corruption for ZABAD SEE ZABAD (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezr_10:33).
