( ÂåëèÝì v. r. Âåëâáßì , Vulg. Belma) a place which, from the terms of the passage, would appear to have been south of Dothaim (Jdt_7:3). Possibly it is the same as BELMEN SEE BELMEN (q.v.), though whether this is the case, or, indeed, whether either of them ever had any real existence, it is at present impossible to determine.
