(Heb. Beyth-Azma'veth, òִæְîָåֶú áֵּéúàּ , house of Azmaveth; Sept. Âáéèáóìώè v.r. Âήè ), a village of Benjamin, the inhabitants of which, to the number of forty-two, returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon (Neh_7:28). In Neh_12:29; Ezr_2:24, it is called simply AZMAVETH SEE AZMAVETH (q.v.).
