a French painter, was born in Picardy in 1609. He travelled in Italy, and thence to Paris, where he painted three historical subjects in the Church of Notre Dame: the Miracle of St. Paul at Ephesus, the Presentation in the Temple, and the Martyrdom of St. Paul.
