Psa_24:1-10 :
The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein ( Psa_24:1 ).
It all belongs to God.
For he hath founded it upon the seas, he established it upon the floods ( Psa_24:2 ).
Now the question, the whole thing is God's, the earth's the Lord's, the fullness thereof. He founded it. He made it. It belonged to him.
Who shall ascend ( Psa_24:3 )
The question:
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? ( Psa_24:3 )
The answer:
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart ( Psa_24:4 );
Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" ( Mat_5:8 ).
who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory ( Psa_24:4-10 ).
