7. [οὖν] after ἐκκαθάρτε. Omit אABDEFG, Vetus Lat. Vulg. and Peshito. C inserts it. It is an obvious endeavour to soften abruptness. See below, 1Co 5:13.

[ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν] before ἐτύθη. Omit אABCDEFG. Rec. inserts with Peshito.
