2. For μηδε (θροεισθαι) the T.R., after the Syrian uncials (KLP), has μητε by assimilation to the context. Per contra, some Western copies read μηδε for μητε in the sequel. B 37 present the itacistic θροεισθε (-αι); cf. note on 2Th 3:14, also on 1Th 5:13.

The latest uncials (DcK) and most minn. substitute (η ημερα) του κυριου by του χριστου; cf. Php 2:16. GP omit του.
