This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
46. ἤκουον γὰρ αὐτῶν κ.τ.λ., for they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. As to those first called in the Jewish Church, so here to the first called of the Gentiles, God pours forth His gifts of grace. This was the Gentile Pentecost. (See Act 2:11.)
