This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
22. εὗρον Δαυεὶδ κ.τ.λ., I have found David, &c. This sentence is a combination and adaptation from two separate verses out of the O. Test. (1) ‘I have found David my servant,’ Psa 89:20; (2) ‘The Lord hath sought Him a man after His own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over His people,’ 1Sa 13:14.
