This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
22. καὶ τὰ νῦν, and now, i.e. though my advice was rejected before I offer it again.

ἀποβολὴ γὰρ ψυχῆς οὐδεμία ἔσται ἐξ ὑμῶν, πλὴν τοῦ πλοίου, for there shall be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. The Apostle now speaks in the confidence of a revelation. Before (Act 27:10) he had reasoned from the probabilities of the case.
