This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
22. τελευτῶν, sc. τὸν βίον. The less common word for “dying” is here taken from the LXX. of Gen 50:26.

περὶ τῶν ὀστέων αὐτοῦ. A sign of his perfect conviction that God’s promise would be fulfilled (Gen 50:24-25; Exo 13:19; comp. Act 7:16).
