19. σάλπιγγος. Exo 19:16; Exo 19:19; Exo 20:18.
φωνῇ ῥημάτων. Deu 4:12.
παρῃτήσαντο. The verb means literally “to beg off.”
μή. The common redundant negative (expressing the negative result) after verbs of denying. See Winer, p. 755.
μὴ προστεθῆναι κ.τ.λ. Lit., “that no word more should be added to them” (Deu 5:22-27; Deu 18:16; Exo 20:19).
