This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
27. καθʼ ὅσον. “Inasmuch as.”

ἀπόκειται. “It is reserved”; lit., “it is laid up for.”

κρίσις. “A judgement.” By this apparently is not meant “a day in the which He will judge the world in righteousness” (Act 17:31), but a judgement which follows immediately after death.
