This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
45. ἐν τῇ ἑορτῇ. The Passover; but there is no need to name it, because it has already been mentioned in connexion with these miracles, Joh 2:23. Perhaps these Galilaeans who then witnessed the miracles were the chief of the πολλοί who then believed.
