2. ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς. Compare Mat 9:37; Joh 4:35.
ἐκβάλῃ. The word literally means ‘drive forth,’ and though it has lost its full force implies urgency and haste. See similar uses of the word in Joh 10:4, Mat 9:38, Mar 1:12.
