This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
6. υἱὸς εἰρήνης. ‘A son of peace,’ i.e. a man of peaceful heart. Comp. for the phrase Luk 16:8, Luk 20:36; Joh 17:12; Eph 5:6; Eph 5:8. υἱὸς ὀργῆς, Eph 2:3. γεέννης, Mat 23:15. It is a Hebraism. Act 4:36.
ἐπαναπαύσεται. The reading of אB is ἐπαναπαήσεται. The meaning is the same and the form is a possible one, since the 2nd aor. pass. in Chobotem is ἐπάην. Comp. Rev 14:13 (AG, La[222] &c.).

ἐφ' ὑμὰς ἀνακάμψει. Mat 10:13. “My prayer returned into mine own bosom,” Psa 35:13.
