This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
14. ἄνθρωπε. The word is sternly repressive. Comp. Rom 2:1; Rom 9:20.
τίς με κατέστησεν κριτήν; “My kingdom is not of this world,” Joh 18:36.
ἢ μεριστήν. ‘Umpire, arbitrator.’ There is an evident allusion to Exo 2:14.
