42. ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέν σε. The brief sentences of the narrative have been beautifully woven by Mr Longfellow into his little poem of Blind Bartimaeus:
“Recall those mighty voices three,
Ἰησοῦ ἐλέησόν με!
Θάρσει, ἔγειραι! Ὕπαγε·
Ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέ σε!”
