This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
27. εἰ μὴ Ναιμὰν ὁ Σύρος. No leper was healed except Naaman. (2Ki 5:1-14. Thus both Elijah and Elisha had carried God’s mercies to Gentiles.) The use of the words is elliptic, like οὐδὲν σιτέονται εἰ μὴ ἰχθῦς, Hdt. Comp. Mat 12:4.
