παραλελυμένος. The word used by Matthew (Mat 9:1-8) and Mark (Mar 2:1-12) is “paralytic,” but as that is not a classic word, St Luke uses “having been paralysed.”
ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν εἰσενεγκεῖν. St Mark explains that the crowd was so great that they could not even get to the door.
