35. τὸ γεγονός. ‘What had happened’ (A.V[182] “what was done”).

παρὰ τοὺς πόδας. In the attitude of a disciple.
ἱματισμένον. Perhaps one of the disciples had thrown a cloke (ἱμάτιον) over his nakedness or his rags.
