This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
29. Διὰ τοῦτον τὸν λόγον. The Lord commends the ready reply, and admits that in the argument she has won: διὰ τὸν λόγον, ᾥτινι πρὸς συνηγορίαν ἐχρήσω συνετῶς ἄγαν (Euthym.). Like the centurion (Mat 8:5-13), she believes that Christ can heal at a distance, and, like him, she wins Christ’s admiring approval (Mat 15:28). This is the only case in Mk in which Christ heals at a distance.
