This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
39. Μὴ κωλύετε. Cease to forbid him, or anyone like him. Cf. Mar 5:36, Mar 6:50, Mar 10:14; also the reply of Moses to Joshua’s jealous advice (Num 11:29). It is an unworthy interpretation which makes Christ’s words mean, “He gets his living by Me, and therefore is sure not to be against Me.”
