11. κοινοῖ. Literally, maketh common; cp. ‘common or unclean,’ Act 10:14. ‘The Pharisees esteemed “defiled men” for “common and vulgar” men; on the contrary, a religious man among men is “a singular man.” ’ Lightfoot ad loc.
