This Chapter Verse Commentaries:

22. τί οὖν ποιήσω τὸν Ἰησοῦν; ποιεῖν has the classical construction τι τινὰ (instead of the usual τι τινί) here only for certain. In the parallel passage, Mar 15:12, the reading of Lachm. and Treg. (ὃν λέγετε om.) gives another instance, and the reading of Tisch. is not inconsistent with this construction. The coincidence would imply an exact reproduction of Pilate’s words, (the trial would be conducted in Greek), and the correctness of structure in this single instance seems to indicate the higher culture of an educated Roman.
