This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
13. Ῥοῦφον κ.τ.λ. The unique epithet (unless cf. 2Jn 1:1; 2Jn 1:13) suggests that there was some marked peculiarity attending his conversion, and the reference to his mother points to personal connection with S. Paul; perh. = Rufus of Mar 15:21 (Swete’s note).
