δοκιμάζεις. As above, Rom 1:28, ‘approvest, after testing.’
τὰ διαφέροντα = the things that are better, the better courses of conduct; cf. Php 1:10, and for the verb 1Co 15:41; Gal 4:1.
κατηχούμενος = being taught—all teaching at this time being oral; cf. Luk 1:4; Gal 6:6.
