Biographical Note
Henry Scott Holland, English clergyman and author, was born at Wimbledon in 1847. He was educated at Eton and Oxford, at which university he was distinguished for learning and character. In 1844 he was appointed Canon of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London. He has published “Logic and Lifeâ€; “Creed and Character,†and other volumes.
