NASB (UPDATED) TEXT: Act_26:1

¹Agrippa said to Paul, "You are permitted to speak for yourself." Then Paul stretched out his hand and proceeded to make his defense:

Act_26:1 "stretched out his hand" This was a gesture of greeting and oratorical introduction (cf. Act_12:17; Act_13:16; Act_21:40, in which gestures of the hand are used for attention and silence).
