Buhl (GAP, 121) favors identification with WaÌ„dy ‛AjluÌ„n, along which in later times a Rom road connected ‛AjluÌ„n and Mahanaim. Others (Guthe, Kurz. bib. Wörterbuch, under the word) incline to WaÌ„dy esh Sha‛ı̄b.
