(1) A Danite, son of the tribal prince Jogli (); he was one of the representative chiefs who assisted in the division of the land.
(2) Son of Abishua and father of Izzi, a priest, fourth in descent from Aaron, in the line of Eleazar (, ), and ancestor of Ezra (). In 2 Esdras 1:2 the name appears as Borith, and in 1 Esdras 8:2 as Boccas.
