Eusebius, Onomasticon identifies it with “Affarea,†and places it 6 miles North of Legio-Megiddo. This position corresponds with that of the modern el-Ferrı̄yeh, an ancient site with remarkable tombs Northwest of el-LejjuÌ„n.
