kad´mon-ı̄t (×§×¨×ž× ×™, kÌ£adhmoÌ„nı̄; Κεδμωναῖοι, KedmoÌ„naıÌoi, signifies “the Easterner,†or, less probably, “one of the ancient raceâ€): The Kadmonites are mentioned in along with the Kenites and Kenizzites of Edom, and are doubtless the same as “the children of the east,†whose wisdom was celebrated (). קרמה, kÌ£eÌ„dhemaÌ„h, “the East,†was a son of Ishmael (; compare ).
