kar´kor (קרקר, ḳarḳōr): An unidentified place where Gideon surprised and overwhelmed the remnants of the army of Zeba and Zalmunnah ( ff). It probably corresponds to Ḳarkar mentioned by Shalmaneser II, S. of Hamath (KB, I, 173).
